Mike’s Way Ingredients

Mike’s way is when they add onions, tomatoes, lettuce, red wine vinegar, olive oil blend, oregano, and salt.

I use the submarine oil already mixed in a bottle that’s available at grocery stores and it tastes the same.

Copycat Recipe Tips

I know by now that you are probably wondering why my subs look funny.

I’ve tried making each individual sandwich its own way. However, the ingredients never stay in place and more ends up on the plate than on the sandwich. And then the roll hinge breaks and it drives me crazy, lol.

By laying down the first roll and layering the ingredients on the club sub that way, it’s so much easier.

But you can do it whatever way is easiest for you. It’s still going to taste like a Jersey Mike’s Club Sub no matter which way it’s made.

What Kind of Meat Does Jersey Mike’s Use

Jersey Mike’s uses meat that is raised without antibiotics. It is distributed through Clemons Food Group and the pigs are raised on American family farms where they are fed a vegetarian diet.

Can I Make my Own Jersey Mike’s Olive Oil Blend

The olive oil blend is called “the juice” at Jersey Mike’s. And by all means, if you have the ingredients, go right ahead and make some.

It’s a blend of 2 parts vinegar and 3 parts good virgin olive oil. I like to keep things easy which is why I use bottled submarine oil.
