Making your own alfredo sauce is so easy and an excellent choice with an amazing flavor.

INGREDIENTS:

CHICKEN BROTH HEAVY CREAM MINCED GARLIC FETTUCCINE NOODLES PARMESAN CHEESE SALT AND BLACK PEPPER

STEP 1

Start by adding your ingredients to your instant pot starting with chicken broth and heavy cream

STEP 2

Add 1/2 teaspoon of minced garlic.  Do not stir. Break Fettuccine noodles in half and place in the liquid.

STEP 3

Press down gently with a wooden spoon or rubber spatula so the noodles are all covered but do not stir.

STEP 4

You should barely be able to see the noodles. You want them all covered so they cook properly.

STEP 5

Place your boneless, skinless chicken breasts on the top of the broken fettuccine noodles. Do not push down into the liquid.

STEP 6

Place cover on Instant Pot and put in the seal position. Set to high for 8 minutes. It takes about 11 minutes to come to pressure.

STEP 7

 Once the 8 minutes are done, let it naturally release for another 8 minutes. Then release the rest of the pressure carefully.

STEP 8

Remove the chicken breasts with tongs and slice into thin slices or cube. Place back in pressure cooker.

STEP 9

Add finely shredded parmesan cheese. (I use the packaged parmesan and not the dried stuff in the can!)
