6 Fast-Food Collectibles You Can Still Get This Fall

Spread the love

Fast food is having a serious collectible moment this fall.

Instead of simply rolling out pumpkin-flavored drinks and Halloween menu items, several chains are giving customers something they can actually take home, from anime figurines and spooky characters to mystery plush keychains. Some promotions target kids, while others seem designed for adults who remember chasing fast-food toys years ago.

The catch is availability. Most of these collectibles are limited-time releases, and several are being sold only while supplies last. That means finding every character or design could depend on what your local restaurant still has in stock.

Here are six fast-food collectibles that are still worth looking for this fall, based on promotions confirmed as of October 2026.

McDonald’s SpongeBob x One Piece Happy Meal Toys

Two very different animated worlds have collided at McDonald’s.

The SpongeBob SquarePants x One Piece Happy Meal arrived at participating U.S. McDonald’s restaurants on September 15. Instead of simply putting the characters side by side, McDonald’s created 15 exclusive collectible toys that combine Bikini Bottom residents with characters from the Straw Hat crew.

Confirmed mashups include SpongeBob as Monkey D. Luffy, Patrick as Zoro, Squidward as Sanji, and Gary dressed as Tony Tony Chopper. Sandy also plays Nami, while other characters from both franchises appear throughout the collection.

McDonald’s describes the promotion as available nationwide at participating restaurants for a limited time. The company has not published a firm nationwide U.S. end date, so that that availability will depend on individual restaurants and remaining toy stock.

With 15 toys in the lineup, this is also one of the larger fast-food collectible sets available this fall.

Burger King Dragon Ball Super Figurines

Burger King is giving anime fans another reason to check the toy before tossing the packaging.

The chain launched its Dragon Ball Super Power Up Pack on September 1, bringing six collectible character figurines to participating restaurants. The lineup includes Goku, Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku, Vegeta, Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegeta, Piccolo, and Beerus.

Collectors can get one in two ways. A figurine comes with the Dragon Ball Super Power Up Pack, which also features Chicken Nuggets, Super Saiyan Sauce, fries, and a Dragon Ball Burst Lemonade. The figures are also included with participating Dragon Ball Super King Jr. Meals.

Recent reporting continued to list the promotion as available while supplies last, making it one of the better bets for collectors hunting in early October.

Because stock can differ by restaurant, calling ahead may save you a disappointing drive-thru trip if you are searching for one particular character.

Wendy’s Frosty Frights

Wendy’s has brought spooky season back to the Kids’ Meal.

The chain’s Frosty Frights collection returned September 14 with 12 collectible figures. There are six main characters, including Numb Chuck, E.A.T., Sir Choc-O-Lot, Shiver Wing, Taran Chilla and Cold Foot, plus six Halloween-colored variants.

Unlike some promotions with vague end dates, Wendy’s provides a clearer window. The Frosty Frights Kids’ Meal promotion is scheduled to run through November 1, 2026, at participating restaurants while supplies last.

That gives collectors most of October to hunt, although Wendy’s warns that the specific toy available may vary by location.

Serious collectors also have an extra reason to pay attention to the Wendy’s app. The company announced an additional Frosty Frights character through a Wendy’s Rewards Drop, separate from the 12 standard Kids’ Meal collectibles.

Dairy Queen Mystery Blizzard Buddies

Dairy Queen may have one of the season’s cutest collectible concepts.

Beginning September 28, participating U.S. DQ locations started offering Mystery Blizzard Buddies, small plush keychains inspired by the chain’s Blizzard treats. Each one comes in sealed mystery packaging, so you do not know which character you have until you open it.

There are five designs to find: Blizabeth, Flip, Blenda, Brrrnie, and Goldie.

The plushies cost $4 with any purchase at participating U.S. locations, with a limit of one per customer per transaction. They are available while supplies last.

Goldie is especially unusual. A limited number of the golden plushies are tied to a promotion offering Blizzard Treats for a year to eligible winners. The associated sweepstakes ends October 31.

DQ’s broader Spellbound Series runs from September 28 through November 1, making the plush hunt a distinctly Halloween-season promotion.

Krystal’s My Little Pony and Tonka Toys

Krystal is leaning into both childhood nostalgia and traditional Kids’ Meal collecting.

The Southern fast-food chain introduced new Kids’ Meals featuring Hasbro collectibles from My Little Pony and Tonka in September. Each qualifying Kids’ Meal includes a collectible toy, an activity sheet, crayons, and a Hasbro-branded cup.

Krystal said the promotion continues through November 1, giving families in participating markets plenty of time to search for the toys this fall.

The chain operates primarily in the Southeast, so this isn’t a nationwide hunt. Krystal says it operates nearly 300 restaurants across 13 states.

Participating locations also offer a Sunday promotion: a Kids’ Meal for 99 cents with the purchase of an adult combo meal, though participation and pricing can vary.

Panda Express’ Frankie Gaw Collectible Bucket

This last collectible is much more limited geographically, but it may also be one of the most distinctive.

Panda Express launched a test of Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken in September across participating restaurants in the Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Nashville, Orlando, Phoenix, and Reno areas, along with select surrounding markets.

As part of the test, the chain partnered with Taiwanese American designer and cookbook author Frankie Gaw on a limited-edition collectible bucket inspired by Taiwanese night markets, American movie-theater nostalgia, and Panda Express’ American Chinese identity.

The bucket is available with the purchase of a large à la carte Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken order at participating test locations while supplies last. It is not a nationwide giveaway, and ordering the chicken as part of a Plate, Bowl, or Family Meal does not qualify for the collectible.

Because quantities are limited and the promotion began September 9, check with a participating restaurant before making a special trip.

Fall Is Turning Into Collecting Season

This year’s fall fast-food promotions show just how far restaurant collectibles have moved beyond the basic Kids’ Meal toy.

McDonald’s and Burger King are tapping into huge animation and anime fandoms. Wendy’s and Dairy Queen are leaning hard into Halloween. Krystal is bringing familiar toy brands to family meals, while Panda Express turned food packaging itself into a limited-edition collectible.

Just remember that “while supplies last” really matters here. A promotion can technically still be running even if a particular restaurant has already gone through its shipment.

For collectors, the best move is simple: check the restaurant or app before making a special trip, especially if you have your eye on a particular SpongeBob pirate, Dragon Ball character, or golden Blizzard Buddy.
