New Meijer Grocery Store Opens in Fishers, Indiana With 75,000 Square Feet of Food and Essentials
A new Meijer Grocery store is now open in Fishers, Indiana, giving local shoppers a new grocery option inside the city limits. The store opened on September 30, 2026, at 15700 Southeastern Parkway and features 75,000 square feet of grocery and everyday shopping space.
The Fishers location is the first Meijer store inside Fishers city limits and introduces the company’s food-focused Meijer Grocery format to the community. Meijer announced the opening through its official newsroom, noting that the store was designed around grocery shopping needs while also offering additional household departments.
A grocery-focused Meijer format
Unlike Meijer’s larger store format, the Fishers location focuses on grocery departments while still including select non-food categories.
Shoppers can find produce, dry grocery items, fresh meat cut daily, bakery offerings, in-store cake decorators, and a full-service deli. The store also includes departments for pharmacy, health and beauty, baby products, pet supplies, consumables, floral items, cards and party supplies.
The company said the new store represents its second Meijer Grocery-format location in Indiana. The first Indiana location using this format opened in Noblesville in 2024.
“We’re excited to open our second Meijer Grocery store in Indiana and provide the Fishers community with convenient access to fresh food and everyday essentials,” said Jess Murray, Meijer’s vice president of the Indiana region. “This format allows us to deliver the products and services our customers need while creating a shopping experience that is tailored to their community.”

New addition to Meijer’s Indiana presence
The Fishers store is also the sixth Meijer Grocery location in the Midwest and marks Meijer’s 45th store in Indiana, according to information provided by the company.
Local Fishers reporting also identified the Southeastern Parkway location as the first Meijer store located within Fishers city limits.
The opening expands Meijer’s presence in the state while bringing the smaller grocery-focused format to another Indiana community.
Grocery services and store hours
The Fishers Meijer Grocery location offers several shopping options, including Home Delivery, Pickup, and Shop & Scan services. According to Meijer’s Fishers store listing, the grocery store’s listed daily hours are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The store’s opening included a ribbon-cutting event as part of its launch activities. Meijer also presented a $15,000 donation to the Good Samaritan Network as part of its grand-opening activities.
With the opening of the Southeastern Parkway location, Fishers now has access to Meijer’s grocery-focused format, featuring fresh food departments, everyday grocery items, and additional shopping services for local customers.
