Bojangles Just Turned Cinnamon Toast Crunch Into Iced Coffee, and Its New Donut Bites Want In
Bojangles is giving fall a cereal-inspired twist, and pumpkin is not the star of this menu update. The chain has introduced Cinnamon Toast Crunch Iced Coffee and sugar-coated Donut Bites, pairing a familiar breakfast flavor with a sweet new use for its buttermilk biscuit dough. Announced Oct. 1, the additions are available for a limited time at participating restaurants, alongside the returning Pork Chop Griller. Think cinnamon, salted caramel, and a breakfast sandwich that does not clock out after breakfast.
One important distinction before you start planning your order: Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavors the coffee, not the Donut Bites. The drink contains the cereal-branded syrup, while the bites are fried biscuit dough tossed in sugar and served with salted caramel dipping sauce. Bojangles’ announcement presents them as complementary additions, not two cereal-flavored products. That gives customers a clear choice between a sweet sip, a snackable dessert, or both, with a savory option rounding out the lineup.
Cinnamon Takes the Coffee Spotlight

The new Cinnamon Toast Crunch Iced Coffee starts with in-house medium-roast cold brew. Bojangles serves it over ice with sweet cream and Cinnamon Toast Crunch syrup, bringing the cereal’s name into the coffee cup rather than the breakfast bowl. The published description does not list actual cereal pieces among the ingredients. It is a flavored cold-brew drink, so anyone expecting a crunchy cereal topping should keep that distinction in mind before ordering.
The addition builds on the iced coffee offering Bojangles introduced earlier this year, rather than marking the chain’s first move into the category. For this seasonal version, the company is emphasizing cinnamon and sweetness without switching to a hot drink. That makes the launch a fall-flavored option for customers who prefer their coffee cold. It also keeps the recipe straightforward: cold brew, sweet cream, branded syrup, and ice, with no pumpkin ingredient listed in the announcement.
“Now that we’re officially into the Fall season, we’re celebrating the harvest months our way, with the classic flavors of cinnamon, sugar and salted caramel,” Marshall Scarborough, Bojangles’ vice president of menu and culinary innovation, said in the launch announcement. He also described the coffee as “the perfect complement to any of our breakfast sandwiches, or a tasty afternoon treat.” Those are the company’s suggested pairings, not an independent taste-test verdict, but they explain how Bojangles is positioning its newest drink.
Biscuit Dough Gets Dessert Duty
The Donut Bites take an ingredient already central to Bojangles’ menu and give it a different assignment. Made with real buttermilk biscuit dough, the pieces are fried until crisp, tossed in sugar, and served with salted caramel sauce for dipping. Customers can order them in six-piece or 12-piece portions. The result is a sweet extension of the chain’s biscuit tradition, rather than a new filling sandwiched inside a conventional breakfast biscuit.
The dipping sauce is a notable part of the launch, not an afterthought. Scarborough said the Donut Bites dipped in salted caramel have “just the right amount of sweet butter milky caramel goodness that will make you forget all about the pumpkins.” That is an enthusiastic company pitch, but the ingredients support the broader point: this particular fall promotion leans on sugar and caramel rather than pumpkin. The announcement does not describe the bites as cinnamon-coated or cereal-topped.
For customers who want something savory, the Pork Chop Griller has returned to participating restaurants and is available all day. It features a marinated, seared pork chop served on a made-from-scratch buttermilk biscuit. Bojangles describes the biscuit as the product of its signature 49-step preparation process. The sandwich is the returning item in this three-part lineup; the iced coffee and Donut Bites are the new arrivals, a useful distinction for longtime customers checking what has actually changed.

What to Know Before Ordering

All three fall items were available when Bojangles announced the launch on Oct. 1, with availability limited to participating locations and supplies. Customers can order in-restaurant, through the Bojangles app for pickup or delivery, or through third-party delivery services. The launch announcement does not provide a chainwide price or a firm final date for the entire lineup. That makes availability a local detail to check, rather than treating a seasonal announcement as a guarantee that every restaurant has every item.
The Donut Bites have also picked up a second seasonal role since their debut. In an Oct. 5 announcement, Bojangles introduced its Halloween-themed Bite Box, which includes a biscuit, a choice of side, a beverage, dipping sauce, and six, nine, or 12 Bo Bites chicken tender pieces. At participating locations in the chain’s core footprint, the box also includes three Donut Bites with salted caramel sauce. That dessert inclusion is specifically limited, so it should not be assumed to accompany every Bite Box everywhere.
The Halloween packaging comes in three designs that form a haunted house when collected and stacked. Tom Boland, Bojangles’ chief marketing officer, said, “Halloween is one of our favorite times of year to have a little fun with the brand, and Boojangles is a tradition we keep building on each season.” For customers, the practical distinction is simple: the standalone Donut Bites come in six- or 12-piece orders, while qualifying Halloween boxes contain three. The new dessert now has more than one way onto the tray, as long as the location participates.
