Thanksgiving Meal Bundles for 2026: What Aldi, Walmart and Target Have Announced So Far

Spread the love

Thanksgiving shopping season is getting closer, but the big budget-friendly meal bundles from Aldi, Walmart, and Target have not arrived yet.

As of October 6, none of the three retailers has announced a confirmed 2026 Thanksgiving meal bundle. That means shoppers looking for an easy holiday shortcut will have to wait a little longer before they know this year’s prices, turkey sizes, side dishes, and ordering options.

Last year’s promotions do provide a useful point of comparison, though. Aldi offered a Thanksgiving spread for 10 people for $40, Walmart advertised a meal for 10 for less than $4 per person, and Target promoted a meal for four for less than $20.

Those are historical offers, not current 2026 deals. Here’s what shoppers know so far.

Aldi has not announced an official 2026 Thanksgiving meal bundle yet.

The retailer’s most recent confirmed offer came in 2025, when Aldi promoted a 21-product Thanksgiving spread designed to serve 10 people for $40, or about $4 per person. The basket included a 14-pound turkey along with ingredients for nine side dishes.

Those sides included rolls, cranberry sauce, macaroni and cheese, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet-potato casserole, green-bean casserole, and pumpkin pie.

That gives shoppers a useful benchmark, but it does not tell us what Aldi will offer this year. When the 2026 announcement arrives, the details worth checking will include the total price, turkey size, number of products, and stated serving count.

Aldi has also announced broader grocery price cuts through early November, but that is separate from a Thanksgiving meal promotion. One should not automatically be treated as evidence that a holiday bundle has been announced.

Walmart

Walmart has also not announced a confirmed 2026 Thanksgiving meal bundle.

In 2025, the retailer promoted a one-click Thanksgiving basket designed to serve 10 people for less than $4 per person. Walmart said the offer was available both in stores and online, with pickup, delivery, and Express Delivery options.

That combination made the 2025 offer particularly easy to compare from a shopping perspective. But the headline price alone does not tell the entire story.

The number of products in a bundle can change from one year to the next, as can the turkey size and the exact selection of side dishes. That means shoppers should wait for Walmart’s actual 2026 item list before deciding whether this year’s offer is a better or worse value than last year’s.

For now, there is no confirmed 2026 price, product count, turkey size, or fulfillment information to report.

Target

Target has not announced an official 2026 Thanksgiving meal bundle either.

The retailer’s most recent confirmed offer was in 2025, when Target promoted a Thanksgiving meal for four for less than $20. The package included a Good & Gather frozen turkey weighing up to 10 pounds, along with potatoes, canned cranberry sauce, stuffing, gravy, French bread, and frozen corn.

The smaller serving size made Target’s offer different from the 2025 Aldi and Walmart promotions, which were built around meals for 10 people.

Target’s 2025 deal began in early November and excluded Alaska and Hawaii. Neither that timing nor that geographic limitation should be assumed for the 2026 promotion until Target provides new information.

What Shoppers Should Compare When the Deals Arrive

The easiest mistake is to compare Thanksgiving bundles using only the big number printed in the headline.

A $20 meal for four and a $40 meal for 10 are not directly comparable without looking at what each package actually contains. Turkey size, number of side dishes, and total products can all change the value of a bundle.

The ordering method matters, too. Shoppers should check whether a deal is available online, in stores, through pickup, or through delivery. They should also look for any store, market, inventory, or fulfillment restrictions.

The sale window is another important detail. A holiday bundle may not be available for the entire Thanksgiving shopping season, so the start and end dates matter when planning a grocery trip.

Taxes and other ordering details can also affect the final amount a shopper pays. The advertised price should be treated as the starting point for comparison rather than the only number that matters.

The 2026 Thanksgiving Deals Are Still a Waiting Game

For now, the most important update is also the simplest: Aldi, Walmart, and Target have not announced their confirmed 2026 Thanksgiving meal bundles as of October 6.

Last year’s promotions show what each retailer has offered recently, but they should not be mistaken for this year’s deals. Prices, products, serving sizes, turkey weights, availability, and ordering options could all be different when the 2026 announcements arrive.

So if you’re planning the holiday grocery budget early, keep those 2025 offers in the history column. The real comparison begins when this year’s bundles are officially announced.
