- 6 cups day-old bread or French Bread cubed
- 1/4 Cup Strawberry Preserves
- 2 cups strawberries diced
- 6 eggs Large
- 2 Cups Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Layer cubed bread and sliced strawberries in the slow cooker. (Bread - Strawberries - Bread - Strawberries)
Whisk together strawberry preserves, milk, eggs, vanilla, and brown sugar.
Pour over the bread mixture and strawberries.
Cover and place in refrigerator overnight so that the bread soaks up all the egg mixture.
Place the pot into the slow cooker and cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours.
Serve with powdered sugar, honey, or whipped cream.
