Olive Garden’s Pasta Pass Is Nearing Its End: The Dates to Know

Spread the love

If you managed to score one of Olive Garden’s hard-to-get Pasta Passes this summer, there is still time to put it to work. But not much.

As of October 8, 2026, passholders have a little over six weeks left before the promotion ends on November 22.

That same date also marks the end of Olive Garden’s Never-Ending Pasta Bowl season, so whether you have the $100 pass or are simply planning another pasta night, November 22 is the date to remember.

Olive Garden brought back its Never-Ending Pasta Pass this year for the first time since 2019.

Only 10,000 passes were offered, priced at $100 plus tax. They went on sale July 16 after Olive Garden teased the promotion earlier that week.

The pass became valid on August 24 and runs for 13 weeks, ending November 22. It allows the passholder to make unlimited dine-in visits during the promotion and order from the Never-Ending Pasta Bowl menu. Soup or salad and breadsticks are also included.

For passholders doing the math, the deal can become worthwhile fairly quickly.

Olive Garden’s regular Never-Ending Pasta Bowl starts at $14.99. At that price, seven visits would normally cost about $104.93 before tax and extras, meaning someone who uses a $100 pass seven times has roughly reached the break-even point.

That same calculation has been a popular topic among Olive Garden fans online. One Reddit discussion about whether the pass was worth buying reached the same basic conclusion: customers would need around seven visits before the savings really begin.

Why August 24 and August 31 Both Showed Up

There was some understandable confusion when the promotion launched because two different start dates circulated.

August 24 was the start date for Pasta Pass holders and Olive Garden eClub members with early access.

The broader Never-Ending Pasta Bowl promotion opened to the general public on August 31. Reddit users following the launch closely also flagged that distinction when Olive Garden first announced the promotion.

For anyone visiting now, however, that distinction no longer matters. The promotion is already fully underway.

The only deadline that matters at this point is November 22.

What You Can Get During Never-Ending Pasta Bowl

The current Never-Ending Pasta Bowl starts at $14.99 and lets diners mix and match several pasta shapes and sauces.

The pasta choices include fettuccine, spaghetti, angel hair and rigatoni, with gluten-free rotini available on request.

Sauces include Alfredo, meat sauce, Five Cheese Marinara, Traditional Marinara, Creamy Mushroom and the limited-time Spicy Alfredo.

Protein toppings include meatballs, Italian sausage, Crispy Chicken Fritta and limited-time Crispy Shrimp Fritta. For regular Never-Ending Pasta Bowl diners, toppings cost extra, although once a topping charge is added, diners can switch between topping options on refills.

Pasta Pass holders get broader coverage under their pass. Olive Garden says the $100 pass includes unlimited pasta, sauces and protein toppings throughout the promotional period.

The Savings Depend on How Often You Actually Go

The headline value of the Pasta Pass sounds enormous if you imagine using it constantly.

At $14.99 per Never-Ending Pasta Bowl meal, eating there every day for weeks would add up quickly without a pass.

But that is not how most people dine.

For a more realistic example, a passholder visiting once a week for all 13 weeks would get 13 Never-Ending Pasta Bowl meals for the $100 upfront price. At the regular $14.99 starting price, those meals alone would otherwise total about $194.87 before tax, toppings and other purchases.

Visit twice a week and the theoretical value rises much further.

Of course, there are still costs to consider. The pass does not make everything at the table free, and gratuity is not included. That became another recurring point among Pasta Pass fans online, with some Reddit users encouraging frequent visitors to remember their servers when taking advantage of the promotion.

This Year’s Pass Was Especially Limited

Part of the appeal came from scarcity.

Olive Garden introduced the Pasta Pass in 2014, and the promotion has repeatedly attracted more interested customers than available passes. For 2026, the company released just 10,000 after a six-year break.

That made simply getting one something of an accomplishment.

Reddit threads from the July sale were filled with customers describing massive online queues, including some users who reported tens of thousands of people ahead of them. Others said they eventually secured a pass after lengthy waits.

Now the scramble to buy one is long over.

The question is whether the people who got through the queue will make full use of it before the final bowl is served.

For anyone holding a 2026 Pasta Pass, November 22 is the deadline.

That leaves a little more than six weeks from October 8 to squeeze in those remaining visits.

And even if you do not have a pass, the regular Never-Ending Pasta Bowl is available during the same promotional period.

So if unlimited Alfredo, rigatoni or meatballs are still on your fall dining list, there is no need to panic yet.

Just do not wait until Thanksgiving week. By then, Olive Garden’s “never-ending” pasta will have officially reached its end.
