Green bean casserole is one of the most traditional, classic dishes during the holiday season. But what if you want a different twist on the classic dish?

These biscuits are individually portioned, so there’s no need to worry about running out of bowls and dishes for your guests to use as take-home gifts.  The individual servings make it perfect for any size gathering, from family dinners to office holiday parties and everything in between!

It’s very simple to create and tastes just as good as the original casserole version, if not better.

Here’s What You’ll Need

  • 1 Can Pillsbury Grand buttermilk biscuits
  • 12 Oz Bag of green beans, drained
  • 1 Can Cream of mushroom condensed soup
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 3/4 cup French’s crispy fried onions, divided
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

This recipe will yield 16 individual casserole bites.

Prep time: 10 minutes | Cook Time: 25 minutes

How to Make Mini Green Bean Casserole Bites

  1. Preheat oven to 375°. Spray 16 muffin tins with a nonstick coating spray.
  2. Remove the biscuits from the can and separate each biscuit in half.  (Just separate them between the layers).
  3. Place each piece in a muffin cup and press down on the bottom and up the sides to form a “cup.”

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add the green beans, soup, 3/4 cup of the crispy fried onions, and 1 cup of the shredded cheese.
  2. Mix well to incorporate all of the ingredients.
  3. Spoon the green bean mixture into the muffin cups, filling up to the top of the biscuit dough.

  1. Bake for 20 minutes or until the biscuits are a light golden brown.
  2. Remove the muffin pans from the oven and sprinkle with the remaining shredded cheese and crispy fried onions. Add a sprinkling of pepper on top.

  1. Bake for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
