- 2 pound chicken breasts
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp black pepper

- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced into 1-2 inch pieces
- 3 cups of heavy cream
- 4 cups of low sodium chicken broth
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons Tony’s Creole cajun seasoning
- 2 cloves garlic smashed and minced
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 pound of uncooked penne pasta
- 1 cup hot water
- 8 oz freshly shredded parmesan cheese

Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Heat olive oil over high heat and sear the chicken breasts on both sides for 1-2 minutes per side.
- Place the seared chicken breasts in the slow cooker along with the sausage, heavy cream, chicken broth, butter, garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon of kosher salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning.
- Cook on high for 2.5 hours or low for about 4 hours until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Once the chicken is cooked, please remove it from the slow cooker and set it aside to cool.
- Stir in 1 cup of hot water and the uncooked penne pasta into the slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for about 30 minutes or until the pasta is tender.
- While the pasta cooks, cut the cooled chicken into chunks.
