Chicken Salad Chick Opens First Sarasota County Restaurant With Opening Week Giveaways
Chicken Salad Chick opened its first Sarasota County restaurant Tuesday, September 29, bringing the fast-casual chain to Fruitville Farms at 6650 Fruitville Road, Suite 132, in Sarasota.
The new location marks the first Chicken Salad Chick restaurant in Sarasota County. The restaurant is owned by franchise owner Karen Jordan through Manasota Chick and is Jordan’s third Chicken Salad Chick location in the Sarasota-Manatee area.
Located in the Fruitville Farms shopping center east of Interstate 75, the restaurant is approximately 2,600 square feet and has seating for 52 people, according to the Business Observer’s report on the Sarasota opening. It offers indoor dining, patio seating, takeout, third-party delivery, and catering.
The restaurant’s menu includes more than a dozen varieties of made-from-scratch chicken salad, along with side salads, soups, sandwiches and desserts. Regular hours are 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
The free-chicken-salad promotion has a few rules

As part of the opening day, Chicken Salad Chick is offering a promotion for the first 100 eligible guests who are in line and complete the required steps. The reward is not the same for every participant, and eligibility depends on following the promotion requirements.
The first guest in line at 10:30 a.m. receives one free large Quick Chick chicken salad every week for one year. Guests numbered 2 through 100 receive one free large Quick Chick chicken salad per month for one year.
To qualify, participants must remain in line, download the Chicken Salad Chick app, and make a qualifying purchase after the restaurant opens. The company detailed the opening-week offers and participation requirements in its announcement of the first Sarasota County restaurant.
The qualifying purchase must be a meal with two sides or an item of equal or greater value. Participants must also be at least 16 years old. The offer is limited to one reward per guest present and cannot be combined with other offers.
Anyone who leaves the line gives up their place, which goes to the next person in line. The initial reward will be delivered electronically in the app on the Monday after opening day. Each reward is valid for 30 days after delivery.
