How to Make Santa Rice Krispie Treats

Line your workspace with parchment.

Unwrap the rice krispy treats and lay them out on your work surface.

Melt the white candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 15-30 second increments and stir well between each interval until smooth.

Dip the bottom ¼-⅓ of each Rice Krispy in the melted white chocolate. Scrape the excess into the bowl and set it back on the parchment.

Immediately sprinkle some shredded coconut over the white to create the beard.  Allow to set.

Transfer the remaining melted white chocolate to a piping bag or ziploc, and set aside.

Melt the red candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 15-30 second increments and stir well between intervals until smooth.

Dip the top ¼-⅓ of each Rice Krispies in the red candy melts. Scrape the excess into the bowl and set it back on the parchment.

Place your mini marshmallows along the edge of the red line to create the fur of the hat. Then sprinkle with a pinch (or more) of the red sanding sugar.

Cut a small hole in the end of the white chocolate piping bag (you can always cut it bigger if needed but start smaller than you think).

Pipe a small dot on each eyeball candy and set it into place on each rice krispies treat.

Finally, pipe a small dot on a red candy and place the nose onto the Rice Krispy.
