Supplies Needed for this Easter Jello Recipe
- 10 inch Springform Pan (if all you have is a 9 inch, then just don’t put all the filling into each layer. Use the remaining in a parfait glass or dessert glass.)
- Rubber spatula
- Microwave safe bowls
- Dessert plates (I like disposable, lol)
- Dessert forks (I don’t recommend disposable forks because the Easter Jello Pie is frozen and they will break.)
- Easter table runner – to make your table look pretty and to set your Easter jello recipe on .
How to Make Easter Jello Recipes Sweet Treat
Follow the directions for How to Make a Graham Cracker Crust.
If you wanted to, you could also switch it up and use a pretzel crust and decorate it with some fresh fruit.
In a large bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs with the sugar and melted butter.
The butter should be melted in the microwave or in a small pot, not just at room temperature.
While some might think it’s easier to make all the layers at the same time, I found it was easier to make one layer at a time.
You can, however, measure out each flavor of jello at 44 grams. This way you will have all the Jell-O colors ready to go.
I also measured out the cool whip so that it was evenly divided up.
The water, you can measure as you go.

My husband commented that it tasted like sherbet, but I thought it tasted more like ice cream and melted in your mouth.
Enjoy!
I wanted to do a 6 layer Easter Jell-O Pie, however, I needed to cut down the measurements. Maybe next time.
Notes:
Make sure to give yourself enough time for the jello to set before serving.
Next time I think I would do pink, orange, purple, and yellow. I was trying to go in order of the rainbow.
The yellow and orange layers are kind of hard to tell apart.
These are my family’s favorite Easter desserts. Jello recipes aren’t new recipes, however, they are easy recipes.
I think it’s the pastel color that makes this such a huge hit with everyone.
You can also add a yellow peep, orange peep, blue peep, etc. to the top as I did with an Easter pie once before. It gives it a cute twist.
Jello Easter Eggs
I’m sure you’ve heard of jello jigglers. The jello eggs are made when the jello mixture is poured into the plastic eggs.
Spray the jello egg molds with cooking spray. Make your favorite box of jello, whether it’s raspberry flavor, lemon gelatin, orange gelatin, or any different flavors that you would like.
Mix a 6 oz box of gelatin with 1 1/2 cups hot water (no cold water needed) in a mixing bowl.
Use a medium bowl with a pour spout for easy pouring into the small hole on top of the jello jigglers mold. If you aren’t good at pouring, you can always use a small funnel.
Spray the egg halves with cooking spray.
Pour gelatin mixture into a small hole until it reaches the top and close mold.
Place mold in the refrigerator for approximately 4 hours to firm up.
When you are ready to serve, open mold and place on a serving platter for a nice addition to any Easter feast.
This is one of the gelatin desserts that was served at grandma’s house when the whole family would get together for Easter dinner. It definitely is a family favorite.
However, it’s also great for church potlucks, Christmas dinner (change up with different colors of jello) a family reunion, etc.
Make this an Easter tradition at one of your next family gatherings. This is just one of the delicious treats that we will be bringing you this year on the Easy Everyday Recipes blog.

Why are Jello Salad Recipes so Popular
Back in the day, Jello salad recipes were popular because they were cheap and easy meals additions with ingredients readily available at the grocery store.
If made in a ring mold with a cream cheese layer, with cranberry sauce, a raspberry layer, and fresh raspberries, it was considered a great side dish.
The raspberry vanilla jello salad was a staple in many households during the depression.
Can I Make This With Sugar Free Jello
I have not tried it with sugar-free jello, but there’s a first time for everything.
Sugar-free jello doesn’t have the consistency as regular jello, however, I have used sugar-free when making jello shots and I did not notice a difference one way or another.
